Job Vacancy – Teaching Assistant
Are you looking for your next challenge as a teaching assistant? Do you have experience of working with young people with additional needs? We are looking for a part time teaching assistant who can confidently work with a small group of learners, supporting them in English, maths and Employability lessons as well as supporting in unstructured time.
You will be joining a team of compassionate and caring individuals, from a range of backgrounds, who together support learners with their differentiated education and social needs – aiming towards the best outcomes for them and the opportunity of progression. Learners all have SEMH (social, emotional and mental health needs), which can include a diagnosis of ASD, ADHD or mental health conditions.

Do you have a few hours spare in your week and are looking for a volunteer opportunity? Wings is a welcoming and loving charity and we are looking for volunteers across a number of projects.

- Youth Clubs - We are looking for volunteers to help us run Youth Clubs on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00 - 5:30
- TRAX - If you are a motor mechanic or have experience of it and would love to pass on your knowledge we would love you to be involved on our car mechanics course on Wednesdays from 9:30 - 2:00.
- College - We are looking for someone who is qualified and confident in driving a minibus to bring students to the college Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 - 10:00
- Ukrainian Hub - We are looking for someone who would love to make tea/coffee and chat to Ukrainians who have settled in North Devon
