What is the course like?We offer a suite of qualifications designed to support an individual to successfully gaining a job, progressing in a chosen field, preparing the individual for further study and support the development of techniques reqiured for independant living.
 As well as learning new things, qualifications include:
  • ​Level 1 and 2 Diploma in Employability skills
  • English Functional Skills - Entry levels to Level 2
  • Maths, Functional Skills - Entry levels to Level 2 

​Students will have the opportunity to do:
  • Carpentry
  • Motor mechanics
  • Design, media and technology
  • Sports and fitness
  • Photography
  • Horticulture
  • Outdoor Activities


What is the Wings College?
Wings has been operating for over 24 years and in that time has worked with thousands of children and young people in helping to give them hope and a positive future.
The Wings College was born out of the desire to offer a real alternative to mainstream education options. Aimed at students who want a different experience to school or large college environments.
Wings offers a supportive atmosphere and a diverse range of practical options to give students inspiration for their next steps, as well as giving them improved confidence, renewed motivation and the skills to progress.

Free daily transport available from Bideford Quay.

This programme meets the criteria for Child Benefit if applicable.
Benefit claimants will be unaffected.

3 days a week - defined as full time


ONE or TWO year flexible programme
September main starts however other intakes through the year.
